COOPERATIVA AGRÍCOLA DE VIDIGUEIRA INSOLVENCY TO BE AUCTIONED SOON


The auction of the insolvent Cooperativa Agrícola de Vidigueira CRL (182/20.5T8CBA) is expected to take place soon. The sale, organised by LEILOSOC®, is scheduled to begin in September, with the exact date and location to be determined.

The real estate assets of the Cooperativa include an industrial warehouse and a building, both located in the municipality of Vidigueira. However, it is important to note that these properties are still under evaluation.

In addition to the properties, the movable assets will also be presented to the market and are valued at a total of €288,085.00. These include:

  • Machinery and equipment for olive oil production (including lines for bottling, olive reception, and continuous extraction);
  • Light goods vehicles;
  • Industrial property (national brands such as Clube Galega, Conde da Vidigueira, Azeite Vidigueira, Vinagre Vidigueira, Azeitona Vidigueira, Pasta de Azeitona Vidigueira, …).

About the Cooperativa Agrícola de Vidigueira

Founded in 1957 and based in Vidigueira, the Cooperativa Agrícola de Vidigueira (CAV) focused on olive oil production. During the 2019/2020 season, CAV received over 6 million kilograms of olives. This resulted in the production of 900 thousand kilograms of olive oil.

Before its insolvency (2020), the Cooperativa had a daily production capacity of around 350 thousand kilograms of olives. Additionally, its storage capacity was approximately one million litres of olive oil.
